This was our 12th cruise on Princess. We were on the Royal Princess, a beautiful ship. We were booked in a mini-suite, mid-ship deck 10. Great location, close to everything. From the time we arrived at the pier we were onboard in about 40 minutes. There was some confusion about what to do with luggage but it was resolved and everyone was on there way to the ship.
We were onboard early but the room would not be available until around 1PM. We had a beverage and watched the safety video then checked in at our muster station. Room ready, yeah!
We entered our room and thing looked good, until....we went in the bathroom and noticed the prior occupants half bar of soap and shampoo in the shower. There were glass rings all over the furniture then I opened one of the drawers and there was a pair of used pantyhose! Our stateroom attendant was kind but we don't believe he really understood what we were talking about. He'd leave us our daily "Patter" but they were for the prior week and wrong day of the week.

The weather was fantastic! Words cannot express the beauty of this location.
Great weather and lots of fun just walking around. Don't forget to stop at the Red Dog for some old fashion fun!
One of our favorite places to visit. The town is so cute and lots of local shops selling real "made in Alaska" items. Not enough time at this port. I would have rather reduced the time in Juneau to spend more time here.
Our absolute favorite port of call. We ride the "White Pass Railroad" every time we've visited. Ask to sit in the last car on the left side for the best views. The "Doughboy" fried bread is incredible. Located on a side street. The "Red Onion" is also a fun place to grab a bite and have a cold local beer. We had to tender in because of the slide. It didn't take long but they do wait until the tender is full to get going.
