This was our first Celebrity Cruise. We departed from Vancouver and there were two ships boarding. I'll bet we walked 2 miles serpentining through the terminal to finally board. Passengers for both ships were together but near the end were finally separated. This could have been real problem for someone with mobility issues.

We had a balcony room, that was fine. You are able to fit your suitcases under the bed and there is additional storage above the bed. In addition to the closet, there are four drawers in a dresser and a large cubby hole where I stored sweaters. There were lots of cubbies in the bathroom, however the shower is pretty small but good water pressure. We had a fabulous cabin steward, Edison, who immediately us got us the requested deck stools and blankets.

We thought food was very very good. The breakfast buffet was amazing with not only cooked to order eggs and omelets, but eggs Benedict as well. We are in the MDR overnight and truly were please with the food. Small lobsters, but at least there was lobster, great prime rib, beet and goat cheese salad and great veggies. Our waiter, Francisco and his staff were amazing..so attentive and always smiling.

AquaClass 1

We had the "bump" balcony which gave us extended views clear to the rear of the ship.

Port Reviews

Victoria

One reason we selected this cruise is because it stopping in Victoria from 12 until 8. There is a shuttle that will take you into the city for a nominal price. We flagged a cab and had them drive us to Buchart Gardens. Takes about an hour and costs $60 US. We stayed for 3 hours and there were cabs right outside that we took back. So much cheaper than the cruise tour and with having 8 hours, very little chance you would be late returning. I should mention it was at least 15 degrees F warmer at the gardens than at the port, so dress accordingly.
