Love cruising out of New York City. We are not loyal to any one cruise line and have cruised over 17 times.

We booked an Inside cabin and was upgraded to a Balcony as our Inside room was next to a utility room that was very noisy during the evening hours. The staff was wonderful about addressing this problem. We received a tray of chocolates for the inconvenience also. The rooms were both very spacious and space for our items was incredible. The bathrooms are the largest I have ever seen on a ship. The choices of dining were numerous and very good. The only bad meal was in the specialty Steakhouse. The reason I say this as the food was no better than the dining room and our waitress was too busy to give us any attention. Majority of restaurants and bars have windows and you can see outside at all times. I loved that. Entertainment was great. My only complaint here would be we enjoy live music at the nightly shows in main theater. I knows it's the new generation of using pre recorded music, but it takes away from the shows. As for space in these venues we had no problem seeing every show we wanted. In Syds we did stand one night and two others nights we did have seats. Fleetwood Mac tribute band was exceptional! There is plenty of outside areas to read, enjoy the sun, or just relax. Beautiful ship. Mini golf was a blast.

As for the ports we just walked around in both Canada stops and Akureyri was small and mostly restaurants. We went to Godafoss waterfalls and enjoyed the trip. We stayed overnight here as Isafjordur did not have room for us to dock. A storm came in and we did not dock in Reykjavik until the day we got off the ship and flew home. That was beyond disappointing. NCL offered all of us a future cruise discount. All in all it was a very enjoyable cruise with lots of activities on the ship and very good service from all the staff.
