I loved the layout and decor of the ship. Food was good. Service was superb. The spa is decent but not as good as NCL. The 12 day sailing from Rome - Greece-Turkey was mainly a Geriatric crowd from USA . I prefer that over being Run over rug rats. The daily tip for my Aqua is $20. The last day tip envelope recommended about $17 additional per day for restaurant and steward. Plus the mandatory 20% add on for extra services. Then, guests (USA) typically tip cash for drinks at bar. The bottom line is approx $500 for tips for a 12 day cruise is beyond excessive! Where is my $20 daily going. The prices of cruises have gone up. Services cut back. Full capacity on almost every sailing. I did 23 cruises last year and about same this year. I’m on a 3 year world tour. Mainly cruising. This type of tipping adds up to $36,000. Ummm. Not going to happen !!! I do not mind the $20. Per day. But to suggest $17 extra per day is insane !!! The dining rooms should have couples area. The large group tables are scattered. I really don’t care to hear loud conversations, especially, Non English when I fine dine. The Blu restaurant was more like a sports bar dining. Service was A+.

I love the new balcony concept. General areas are fantastic. I would love to sail on this ship again.

Excursions are over priced. You can do better on your own. Only advantage is the ship will not leave you should you be late !! The ports are overcrowded everywhere you go. Ships are now full capacity. Santorini was the worst. 2 hour line just to go up and come down. Each way. You can walk up / down. There is a ferry and bus to go up. Mykonos was over run. This is not a relaxing vacation. Crowds are bit on aggressive side. Best to go off or shoulder season.
