Cabin: Deluxe Verandah Suite

We were scheduled to cruise Singapore to Tokyo on the Westerdam, but were concerned with Japan travel restrictions so decided to switch cruises. So glad we did. We had the aft corner Neptune suite, which gives a balcony on two sides of the stateroom. That was ideal for cruising Fjordlands National Park. When the attraction was on the other side of the ship, we went to the back. Unfortunately, Qantas Airlines lost our luggage before embarking on the ship. Could not get it to us in time for departure, but we gave them our itinerary and was told we would get it at a further port stop. We got our bags the last day in New Zealand, 8 days into the cruise. The good part was the crew understood our trouble and was great at taking care of us. We would put out our laundry and have it back in an hour, sometimes. The concierge kept calling the airline until they finally delivered. The meals were fantastic. Loved Canaletto and Pinnacle. The excursions were very good, especially the Maori Village and the Tasmanian Wildlife Preserve.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Verandah Suite

Absolutely best cabin ever. Aft corner Neptune Suite. Balcony on two sides, double bathroom/vanity. I am going on the same ship in a week in Alaska and doing the same type room.
