The Mermaiden Voyage on Resilient Lady with Virgin Voyages was brilliantly spectacular! I am a travel advisor with Magical Vacation Planner and The moment we boarded the ship, to the port, and to the final night the experience was top-notch! The only hiccup I would say would be when we dropped out luggage off - there was a line and not great communication on where to go, but we finally found our way to the right spot for boarding! This could only be because it was a new port and one of the first voyages, so I am sure it will improve in the future! Our bags arrived at our door before we got to our room which was like magic! The restaurants on board served the highest level of cuisine with an all-you-care-to-enjoy attitude. The service on board from the crew was incredible! They were so helpful, offered recommendations on what to do each night, and Sailor Services was great! I did have an issue with my Virgin Voyage app, but I went to Sailor Services and they worked their magic! The entertainment on board is spectacular! There is something for everyone whether it be a show, playing games, casino, laying out by the pool, etc. Each port was a dreamy experience in itself! We did a few excursions and enjoyed them SO much! For the most part, we planned ahead on where we wanted to go in each port and what we wanted to eat/what food we wanted to eat! I do highly recommend booking the Cooking Class in the Myconian Home through Virgin Voyage Shore Things during your Mykonos day! Very appreciative to John and his team for an excellent experience on this incredible ship! Needless to say, we are hooked on this adult-only cruise line and we will definitely be booking one out of Miami on the Scarlet Lady!

Cabin Review

We enjoyed our Central Sea Terrace on the 10th Floor Mid Ship! I highly recommend a Sea Terrace so you can get some time in on the Hammock that's available on each Sea Terrace! The room was very spacious and the service from house keeping was excellent each day!

Port Reviews

Athens (Piraeus)

Great activities to do in port before or after your cruise! We did a pre-night stay and a post-night stay in Athens to explore before and after the cruise! Definitely hit up the Akropolis and have yourself some Greek Cuisine!

Bodrum

We enjoyed Bodrum, but looking back we should have done an excursion to get the best out of the port! I do need to let you know that there is a lot of soliciting. Walking from the port into town a lot of owners are outside their business trying to get you to eat at their places or buy something from you. We ate at the place near the water - and the owner was very pushy to the extent of not letting us order what we wanted. We finished our meal - paid - and then shopped a bit then headed back to the ship to enjoy the boat!

Mykonos

I wish I could give this place a million-star rating! WE LOVED Mykonos! You stay the night in this port if you are on Resilient Lady and it's something special! I highly recommend booking a Cooking Class in a Myconian Home Shore Thing! You literally go to this amazing Greek Home hosted by a wonderful Greek woman who resembles Maria from my Big Fat Greek Wedding! She teaches you to cook Greek Cuisine and feeds you! We also had the chance to explore Mykonos by shopping and of course, eating wonderful Gyros from Sakis which is highly recommended. You will fall in love with Mykonos - no doubt!

Rhodes

Rhodes was amazing! We used Google Maps to walk around and find a beach. Then we ate Gyros from a little cafe we found on the way to the beach - amazing food and wonderful sights in this city! Highly recommend exploring the Kights Castle too! Incredible history!

Santorini

Goodness! Santorini was AMAZING! We tendered over to Santorini and took the Cable Car up the mountain. We ubered to Oia (pronounced ee-ya) and had the best time! You can explore (kinda like Mykonos) and the views are amazing! Definitely stop for lunch and get a picture in every spot you can think of! There is also shopping too!
