Sail Date: May 2023
Cabin: Mini-Suite with Large Balcony

We have traveled with Norwegian Cruise Line in the past and truly enjoyed it all. My NCL reservations representative is wonderful too. We chose this ship’s itinerary since our first option to travel with NCL Epic out of Barcelona was cancelled to do ship updates. Needless to say, they should update Breakaway too. Commodes did not flush properly, no automated door openings so touchy touchy, no seat covers for public restrooms, massive crowd in meeting areas for tours & then we were moved through dark small hallways & having to go down 4 floors to exit ship. We had to wait in crowded stairways that were very dangerous. Tenders were loaded with nearly 150 people to tender to ports. Also very dangerous. The ports were not in the safest areas and in fact difficult to get out and walk around. Bars were not properly staffed. No port information was provided. The cruise director was just an announcement representative. Nothing like we have every experienced. Very disappointing.

Mini-Suite with Large Balcony

We had a balcony suite on the 14th level. Found a piece of broken glass in room from prior trip that was never vacuumed properly. Stewart was nice, only came one a day to clean & they only provided 2 bath towels.
