Cabin: Deluxe Nordic Balcony
One of the reasons that I originally chose this Antarctic cruise was because they had equipment that allowed you to board the excursion boats while aboard the ship. Unfortunately it was not operating . That being said, it did not matter because the cruise/excursion staff were EXCELLENT!! Their expertise allayed all my fears and anxiety!
Overall, all the staff on the Octantis were the best I have ever cruised with.
The food was excellent- the World Cafe is the best station buffet I have experienced on a cruise, and the choices were so varied. Since it was a small ship, there were only 2 specialty restaurants, and the Italian one was excellent!!
