Cabin:

I chose the Celebrity Summit out of Bayonne because of the itinerary(Rhode Island, Martha's Vineyard, Charleston, and 2 days in Bermuda). I live in New York and I love sailing out of Bayonne. This was my second sailing with a celebrity(the first was on Beyond), I knew this was an older ship so my expectations were limited. I couldn't book my usual balcony so I was a little concerned about being in an inside cabin for 9 days, The interior room was pretty nice and our room steward was great.

The ship was in good condition showing small areas of wear and tear(seats in the sunset bar area need to be redone) We were assigned a late seating for dinner and had a hard time changing it. The was a full ship and you could really feel it in the dining room. We ate once in the dining room and the food was very good. The buffet on the summit was excellent. In fact, we both felt it was better than Beyond. Room Service came with a charge of around $12 but the Celebrity Burger was fantastic and the creme brulee was out of this world. We went to the Petit Chef and this is where we had our best meal of the cruise. In fact, we loved the food so much that we went back and enjoyed a Mother's Day brunch there.

The entertainment was OK but we thoroughly enjoyed the performer(can't remember her name) who did a salute to Aretha Franklin. Her voice was incredible!
