Our first choice was Scenic River Cruises, we went on an excellent cruise with them last time. Scenic were booked on the dates we wanted this time, so Avalon was recommended to us.
It compared very well. Avalon staff were a bit more relaxed. The ship was pristine & the cleaners were always sterilising the ship.
The Cruise Director David was fantastic, great sense of humour & presentation.
Cabin Review
Pristine. Spacious, large bathroom, patio doors opened to form a balcony where we could sit at a table & watch the scenery go by.
Preferred the orientation of the bed, facing the window.
