I will absolutely sail with Viking again. Everything is perfectly thought out. We came back from a cold day of excursions and the crew handed out hot chocolate. We missed a port due to weather but the crew put together a full day of activities for us in a matter of hours. Most importantly, this is a shout out to anyone who deals with allergies. My adult son has life threatening food allergies and was hesitant to join us. Within minutes of boarding, we had Denis, the restaurant supervisor, Vishnu, the chef, and Andy (may have spelled that wrong), the allergy specialist. Andy and my son developed a game plan to handle the food. Andy came to every one of Matt's meals, made sure that they were safe, considered what workarounds they might do. Within 24 hours, Matt relaxed and totally enjoyed himself. That is 100% because of the care of Andy and the rest of the crew. In fact, my son and daughter-in-law said they will absolutely cruise again.... with Viking.
If I were to change anything, they should add more spa support. I know a few people were looking for appointments and couldn't get any.
Lastly, we tried the upscale places to eat and were much more satisfied with the regular dining room. Go figure.
