The mermaiden voyage of resilient lady did not disappoint. The ship is gloriously new with thoughtful design throughout and clever little design cues (such as different coloured lifts to designate aft, fore and mid ship). The food was as lovely as ever for virgin voyages - not a bad dish at any of the restaurants - I ate at the wake, razzle dazzle, extra virgin, the galley and pink agave. New menu at razzle dazzle is different but the honey and mustard chicken dish is stunning. Pink agave remains my favourite - try the rib eye. Overall what makes VV is the crew - everyone you came into interaction with was smiling and seemed genuinely happy to be at their work. I’m a sea blazer and my loyalty was recognised onboard by crew. Onboard activities were as Virgin as ever, you can get as involved as you like or just do your own thing. The Greek island glow itinerary has some stunning spots - Mykonos and Santorini being personal favourites. Shore things on land were reasonably priced and good value. Keep it up Virgin. I love setting sail the virgin way.
Good size and thoughtfully designed. Resilient has some design tweaks including different carpet, curtains, wardrobe curtain and table lamp.
