We chose this cruise because it allowed us to see sights in germany that we hadn’t seen before at a no hazzle leisurely pace which viking offered. it also gave us the option of scheduling an additional day’s stay in berlin before hand which we took advantage of. This cruise far exceeded our expectations. the crew went above and beyond to meet our needs. the food was excellent and plentiful. we were very pleased with the tour guides and their knowledge of the sites we visited. these sites included berlin, potsdam, sanssouci palace, meisen, wittenburg, dresden, bastei and prague. The the additional tour of torgau was an unexpected surprise and is an excellent example of viking going above and beyond our expectations. The location of the hotels in berlin and prague were within easy walking distance of all the major sites we wanted to see in those two cities. in addition, the hotels were top notch with clean spacious rooms and great amenities.
