It was the worst cruise experience by far. The ship is designed in a way that Haven guests are preferred. As a regular passenger you just walk around those closed areas. Not enough space to spread out, too small and dark restaurants, too much staterooms compared to the very limited entertainment/public space. There is basically only one deck where you can relax. But all of it would be nothing if the service was great. NCL seems to have forgotten what cruising is about. We love(d) cruises since we have always received unforgettable memories and excellent service on a cruise ship. All of it is gone now. At least with the NCL Prima. It looks like NCL desperately needs to earn money. A lot of money. Everything is about how to get more money from the pessangers. There are 5 employees at the shore excursions desk while only one at the guest services. Guests need to stay in a long row to clarify things. They excluded water bottles from the premium beverage package. Previously, we have always received two bottles of water delivered to our stateroom. Not anymore. You have to pay additionally for bottled water or acquire an additional water package. They raised gratuities and staff tips but reduced service significantly. All staff are just rude and incompetent. One of them rolled with the eyes as we asked something. A lady in casino didn't greet us or talked to us but only showed with her finger in the direction of her colleague since she didn't feel that she can or wants to help us. NCL canceled one port of call on our route and has not even offered any kind of reimbursement. I do understand that some itineraries can be canceled but I would except some kind of reimbursement like discounts or vouchers. My personal highlight is however cocktails and wines on tap. Paying $600 a night and getting pre-prepared cocktails served is just like slap in the face of any paying customer. I filed a complaint and will wait for NCL's reaction based upon I will decide whether I will ever cruise with this company again.
