We chose Viking's 15 day Grand European tour from Amsterdam to Budapest because we figured it would give us a great way to experience many and diverse stops along the Rhine and Danube Rivers. This was our first river cruise and we were very happy with everything that the Viking ship and staff had to offer. The food and service were beyond top notch, as was our service in our staterooms. Programs and excursions from the ship were also very good, they gave us an opportunity to see the major attractions at or near each port of call, plus afford us free time to explore on our own most days. The entire staff on the ship was very friendly and helpful. They helped make the time onboard the ship very enjoyable. Transfers from and to the airport was efficient and comfortable. The whole experience with Viking is one which I will highly recommend to all of my friends.
