Viking has a wonderful reputation. It is well deserved. The River Cruise far exceeded expectations. The transfers to the ship were well planned and effortless for the guests. The staff were exceptional. They were competent, professional, personable, helpful, welcoming and warm. They made our time on board very enjoyable. They were concerned with the guests comfort. Great suggestions about food choices, wine selections, excursions, etc. The ship was so clean. Safety and hygiene were foremost priorities. Housekeeping did a fabulous job. The room was efficiently appointed and convenient. The tour guides were so knowledgeable. It was with great patience and humor that they educated us on the areas we visited. The food on board was consistently excellent, well-served and paired well with the wines. The excursions were well organized, comprehensive and pertinent to the areas visited. Free time was appropriate with options for shopping, coffee stop, etc. I would highly recommend Viking River Cruises
