This was our first river cruise and Viking did not disappoint! We were treated like royalty the minute we boarded. Our stateroom was bigger than I expected, the shower was a good size and Nick, our room steward could not do enough for us, even to looking for a lost earring. We dined in the dining room for each meal and were wonderfully served by Ryan who remembered our names instantly. The food was delicious and plentiful. The included excursions were a good introduction to each city we visited. We really enjoyed the excursions we purchased, especially the folk dinner in Budapest, the Mozart/Strauss concert in Vienna, the Abbey visit and the trip to Salzburg. Our guides were knowledgeable and witty. We were amazed by how the bus driver was able to maneuver in the small streets in the cities. It was a “vonderful” experience and we will sail with Viking again…in November!

Cabin Review

Our cabin was beautiful. I sat on the balcony when we were sailing and just took in the beautiful countryside scenery. It was spacious as was the bathroom.
