We chose this cruise to see the highlights of the Great Lakes. Mackinac Island, The Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation in Detroit, and Niagara Falls were new places for us to visit while sailing on a Viking Expedition Ship. At first we thought we would not like Detroit, but the Henry Ford museum was a nice surprise. Full of American artifacts. It did not disappoint!

The food was superb. My husband and I eat very differently and most of our meals were in the World Cafe which offer fresh, wholesome meals for a variety of tastes. Breakfast included standard America fare, but included things like Eggs Benedict and fresh pastries. Lunch and dinner offered several kinds of meats, vegetables, salads, and of course their delicious desserts.

I spent an afternoon in the Spa. The tepid water in the pool was very nice. There was a hot tub, steam room, snow shower room, sauna. It was very luxurious!

Cabin Review

Every space was utilized in this small/medium cabin. The heated floors are always a draw for us.
