We had heard so many good things about Viking so we decided to give them a try, and we were so happy that we did. From the moment we stepped on the boat everyone was pleasant and helpful. Every detail was taken care of, and all members of the staff made us feel welcome and special. The food was delicious, the enrichment programs were well done and the entertainment by Daniel was perfect. The tours were well put together, although we would have liked to spend more time in Normandy. The guides were all well educated in their subjects and eager to share their knowledge with us. We met lots of interesting people on board, mostly from the US, but some UK and AU. The room was adequate in size and the bathroom with the heated floor was ideal for the chilly mornings. Nice touch Viking. We are looking forward to our next Viking cruise in July

Cabin Review

Explorer Suite with Veranda

We had a first floor cabin with a small window. It was fine and served us well.

Port Reviews

Normandy

We picked this cruise because of the visit to Normandy. Both of our parents served in WWII and we always wanted to come to see the Beaches of Normandy. It was a very humbling site and we were so blessed to have seen it. Only downside was the guide who spoke with a very heavy French accent and was hard to understand at times, otherwise I would have given it 5 stars.
