Sail Date: Apr 2023

We are seasoned cruisers having sailed with TUI, Princess, Celebrity and with P&O multiple times and recognise that things can go wrong at times, but through experience, it seems that P&O come up short more than other cruise lines.

We booked on Arvia for two weeks sailing from Southampton on April 30th around the Spanish coast into the Med then over to Italy and France and back to Spain before spending two days at sea, arriving in Southampton on May 14th.

We were told by e mail two days before departure that there were cases of Chicken Pox on board amongst (crew / staff) and also that our Palma destination had been substituted for Alicante - which was not the best choice for a cruise destination.

Cabin Review

Lots of cut backs. Not even a bottle of complimentary water. One visit per day from the cabin steward.

Port Reviews

Alicante

Not on the original itiniary. Holiday resort with no attractions for cruise passengers. Palma was our original destination.
