While the initial check-in process was smooth, we then had to sit in a large room with hundreds of other people for over a half hour until we could board. The Boat layout is extremely confusing and you have to go to other floors to get around to your final destination. We got lost 3 times before we found the Habana bar. The boat stinks of sewage A LOT. And not in only one location but everywhere. Sadly we got an adjoining room and you can hear EVERYTHING in the other room. Not just the adjoining room but if anyone is on the balcony or walking through the halls/closing their doors. I don’t think we slept for more than 5 hours at a time until something woke us up. For breakfast you have to check-in on the app and then wait 20 minutes for a table…food in general isn’t impressive at all. Since the boat caught on fire the other year, the fumes go down on the deck; the first day we were pelted by ash from it. Pools are pretty small and the hot tubs don’t have jets. The fitness room has about 8 lifting machines and the treadmills force you to watch TV instead of looking out at the ocean. The cruise director says things that don’t make sense, and sometimes he’s borderline offensive. I could go on and on about how miserable this cruise is and we are only 3 days in. We will not be cruising Carnival again.
