P & O advertise an enjoyable holiday at reasonable price and this is exactly what it provides.

The Acadia is not a glamorous or modern ship but has its own charm.

Our embarkation was slick and because we had a time slot we boarded the ship within half an hour of turning up at the port in Southampton. We were signed off at our muster station and went directly to have lunch in the Belvedere buffet.

Cabin Review

Our cabin E0** was on the 4th deck with an obscured window. The cabin was clean and spacious with plenty of closet space. The bathroom had a bath. The room and bathroom were quite tired and could do with a make-over, it was also dark and needed lights on most of the time. There were not enough power points so we had to take it in turns to charge up our devices. We had tea making facilities in the room which is standard for P & O.
