I expected this to be "dated," but was pleasantly surprised with how beautifully appointed everything was. The artwork throughout the ship and in all restaurants and stairwells was beautiful and the piazza was a lovely place to enjoy the ambience. Lots of hot tub options, our favourite one was at the back on the top. The entertainment was top-notch, the food and drink incredible (we loved the 24K margaritas!), staff was wonderful, and we loved all the lounges and theatres. The drink package, Wi-Fi and gratuities were all included in the booking I did and I would highly recommend that. I did not spend one penny above my booking price once on board as there was enough wonderful food and drink without going to the specialty restaurants. My favourite spot was the international cafe where we could have coffee and desserts 24 hours a day! We liked to cap off the day with some baileys and coffee! I would go back on the Grand Princess in a heartbeat. I did not experience one negative thing.
