Chose to take this cruise at this time to hopefully avoid the previous 2022 low river water experience and also to spend time in the city of light Paris. Before leaving home I reviewed the long range forecast for each city which indicated cloudy, cool, and rainy weather ... well the forecasts ended up being inaccurate as we experienced weather that was warm, partly cloudy, and no rain. I'm here to review our wonderful experience on the Hild. First off I have experienced over the years over 40 cruises and this by far was the best. 1. The food was prepared and served by a passionate staff led by a chef overseeing every detail and prepared meals using the latest cooking techniques resulting quality rivaling the finest restaurants. 2. The entertainment was great. 3. The lounge service was outstanding serving quality wines, beers, and drinks making the drink package a bargain 4. Enthusiastic cruise director on top of the most smallest detail wearing a smile leading a happy smiling supporting staff. 5. Enthusiastic and knowledgable tour guides for every tour taken. 6. The ship was always clean and is well maintained
