As a long time RCCL cruiser this is our third time on this ship. We figured we couldn’t go wrong since the other times were great. It all started with our Anniversary package not being in our room. The very cheapest of decorations were up, but no champagne or strawberries. We were told it to wait until the end of the night and it “should” show up. By the next morning we made our first trip to the service desk who tells us he needs to see our receipt. Back to the room and trip 2 to service desk (those of you that have done this know this is not a quick interaction). This kind soul finds our order and once again we hear it will be there by the end of the day. Good news is that we did finally get it, in a broken ice bucket with no ice. Onto our room which was almost never cleaned. Thankfully we pick up after ourselves but again this was such a change from the norm. The food was also not up to the normal standards. Runny eggs, overcooked meat, dried out fish so disappointing again. Then you get to the state of the ship. I was so excited to see that no one would be on the ship before us as this meant the ship would get a nice fluff and buff and some maintenance. Boy was I wrong. Broken elevator first day, half the slot machines down broken coke machine and the ATM was broken. Again disappointed. And the most disappointing of all is I get home to find out after avoiding it throughout the entire pandemic that I have Covid. Great job cleaning. Worst cruise ever.
