Cabin:

We chose this cruise ( our first transatlantic) because of the itinerary. Interesting ports of call and the longest batch of sea days was four in a row, compared with some others of up to nine in a row.

The itinerary was great, Bermuda, Ponta Delgada, Madeira, Motril, Ibiza and Palma before arriving Barcelona. The call at Cadiz was cancelled due to strong winds, which was a pity, but safety first.

Things that were good:

Cabin Review

The cabin, cramped with the wash basin so close to the end of the bed that I could sit on the bed when shaving. Impossible for my partner to pass when I was using the basin. The bed was so short that even I at 5ft9ins had my feet sticking out at the bottom. The curved sofa, very uncomfortable(curved to accommodate the head of the bed in the next cabin). no coffee table. The arrangement of toilet at one side and shower at the other with opaque glass doors was horrible, when I use either of these facilities I like my privacy, even the dreaded shower curtain would have been better than this. No USB chargers and the power sockets in a cupboard under the unit opposite the bed.

The balcony was a great size but why have a tiny 12" square table on it, when there was lots of room for a decent size table.
