PRE-EMBARKATION: We requested tactile hearing devices to be installed in our cabin and received a confirmation email a month prior to sailing stating the info was forwarded to the appropriated department on the boat. In the evening on day 1, I went to guest relations to inform them of the issue. The ship had no record of our request. Two days into the cruise we were playing telephone tag with Guest relations/IT to have the issue resolved. On day 3 upon returning from port we received a message from embarkation security to contact guest relations. The cabin attendant asked what devices we required and that IT would look after it. I was under the mistaken impression that all devices related to hearing impairment would be installed. Furthermore, I did not know what devices the ship had for installation. In the end we decided to not have it installed as we were already 3 days into the cruise.

We received an email stating that we should download the "VeriFLY" app to ensure a faster seamless experience.

"We want to take this opportunity to introduce VeriFLY, a secure, free digital health application that allows guests to easily submit required pre-embarkation information, like their vaccine card and/or negative COVID test results, if required, and their health assessment. Completing these tasks before check-in will make embarkation a faster and more seamless experience. We will have a special expedited path for you to follow during embarkation. Please note that only guests who have completed the VeriFLY process may use this line". Note: we did not see this "expedited path" and somehow missed it. We did not use this app or were we ever asked to show the app.

Cabin Review

Standard Interior Stateroom

J10** - Our cabin was on deck 1 midship starboard side. On deck 2 approximately above us were the 2 music venues. Before midnight you could hear the very slight din from the music playing.

We were originally assigned a cabin directly across on the port side. After informing the agent about my noise concerns we were moved to the starboard side.

Cabin was as expected - queen size bed configuration with lots of room for storage. If you're a taller or larger person, the bathroom maybe an issue.

Central cabin location was perfect as the main dining room was on decks 2 and 3. In addition, the Lido deck (buffet) was on deck 9 which gave us the opportunity to walk instead of using the elevator.
