This was our first river cruise and it was amazing!! The service was 5 star. Food was yummy and many options, even for someone who is picky like me. We had several minor bumps along the road, and Avalon corrected them before anyone could even ask. Their customer service was spectacular. We liked that there were several different walking speeds for each tour… from brisk to gentle walkers. The local guides were great and had a lot of great I info to share with us. All the ports were awesome and every evening during happy hour the cruise director would give us an update of what to expect the next morning. The app has a lot of helpful information about all the cities we went to. They also give you a whisper device for hearing the guides during the tours. The best part is that the whisper is also a hot spot to give you WiFi!
