This was our 56th cruise and we know what a five star line is. This is not. It is maybe a 3.5 or 4.0 at best.
While the ship itself is in beautiful condition and creates an aura of old style class, it has not kept pace with technology. Our cabin had a 24”TV and no working phone. Internet was very slow and the App you are asked to download is next to useless. It does’nt even have a chat function.
This was compounded by management’s incompetence, visible throughout the cruise.

What a nice place. We stayed at a Chinatown hotel which turned out to be central walking distance to most attractions. They have good maps and it is quite easy to go around on your own.
We found the Japanese to be extremely tourist friendly. Absolutely delightful !!
