Sail Date: May 2023
May 2-9, 2023. (I am 70 years old, and my friend was 62 - if that matters)
I choose this riverboat cruise for 3 reasons: Derby, Paddlewheel & Great Steamboat Race (3 Bucket Lists). A friend of mine went with me on the Countess which holds 245 passengers and a great small ship. The food was amazing, the itineraries were great - they even do their own Hop/On Hop Off Buses with local tour guides.
Wonderful ship, lounge, theater, main dining room, and river grill which had a few outside tables.

Cabin Review
This starboard side cabin has a double balcony with 4 chairs and 1 table. In the port of Louisville, they even a small festival for the derby - and we could go for free. We just sat on our balcony and listened to the music which ended at 11:00pm.

Cutest little town, where Rosemary Clooney’s house/museum is. I met George Clooney’s mom & sister. Caboose tour with some country music. Winery with oldest & largest wine cellar in US.
Louisville Kentucky
Frazier Museum is a must!!! I could spend all day there. Slugger museum.
Brandenburg (Kentucky)
Abe Lincoln memorabilia. So cute and fun.
Madison
Saddletree Museum!!!! Only one left in US. Railroad museum, large mansions with gardens and beautiful views of the river. Many historical buildings!!!
