We chose this cruise because we live in Southern CA and it was less travel to be on a cruise. We haven't gone for a number of years, for obvious reasons, and looked forward to the days at sea, port activities, and the destinations. The first afternoon on the ship, we went to the "app" to get dinner reservations for that night and found out that we did NOT have dinner (table or time) for the entire cruise. We could "wait in line", but could not get reservations. The "APP" is the worst software I have ever used, seems like it was developed by a software engineer that never used anything. The next issue is the internet service. We paid $150 for the internet, then paid another $150 to get multiple devices. The old dial-up 1990's internet was faster than this service. When I complained at the end, I was told I should have gone to the internet cruise desk instead of the cruise desk. Oops .. missed that sign too. Now, once we did get seated, the food was excellent, the service was great, and the deserts were wonderful. This industry has been kicked in the butt with COVID and I get they are making a comeback, but the changes being made are not for the better. I am recently retired and looking to spend more time vacationing - it won't be on Princess.
