Cruise itself was really very nice. 5 in party including 2 grandkids (3&8). 2 rooms adjoining. Islands were really good. Roatan favorite, did nature preserve (maccaws and monkeys) and beach combo. Grandkids had a ball. Pool in Belize City was excellent, huge, swim up bar, really clean. Did private island on Cozumel, very nice. Great Stirrup Cay was also really nice. Food was above average, most dinners very tasty. Ship and rooms were clean and maintained well, crew not overly friendly but did good job. Kids had fun on ship, good variety of activities.

The problem we has was getting to and from ship. Really a complete mess. We linked our rooms for dining and excursions, no problem, but airline and transportation were a mess. First, don't expect them to care if your families are traveling together. My daughter's family was booked into Miami on American and I was booked on SW to Ft. Lauderdale, from same airport (Columbus). When I called to see if we could fix I was rudely stonewalled. Even contacted Alan Carvajal (new CEO) who referred me to Andrew, his "resolution specialist) All he did was read me the fine print about no booking guarantees, but he did offer to try to change IF I WOULD PAY $1679 More!!! Glad I didn't respond with what I was thinking. They booked return flights same airlines, taken to airport around noon and flights didn't leave till late evening, so all day at airport. They also screwed up transfers on return, had me going to Miami instead of Lauderdale. Fortunately they were able to fix that. Check-in was an absolute zoo, nobody there to direct you for luggage or where to go. They assign checkin times and say in letter you may not be boarded if you miss, They got me to port 30 minutes after my time, but did get on. Luggage not delivered till after 8pm, room not ready till after 6pm, didn't begin boarding till around 2pm. Our personal consultant Ronelle Gill was really nice and tried to help, not much she could do though about travel. Overall nice cruise but BOOK YOUR OWN TRAVEL AND TRANSFERS!!! Learned that the hard way.
