We have sailed on Celebrity several times, and this was our third TransAtlantic cruise. We selected this particular ship and sailing for the ports of call. We have wanted to see different parts of the British Isles, and wanted to finish the cruise in the U.K. so we could stay in London for the Coronation.

BOTTOM LINE: If you want to skip to the high-level overview, this was an EXCELLENT cruise. The ship is in very good condition, food was good, staff was fabulous. This was our third cruise since the restart and although the food is not as good as it was maybe 8 years ago, we thought the service and food were better than our 2 cruises last year. In our opinion, all of the 'Celebrity is going down the tubes' talk is baseless. We may be Celebrity loyalists, but we also expect value for our money. And we got it with this cruise.

A note - one of the officers told us that the ship was only 53% of capacity. The Retreat and Aqua Class were full. Apparently there were plenty of inside and OV cabins open.
