I am going to leave a very detailed review because I think people deserve to know what they are getting before they book this cruise line. We were taking a 15 day transatlantic cruise, our first time with virgin.
Embarkation: they had me book a time in the app, 2:15 was my time so I planned my day around that. I get a notification the day before that they need more time and need to push it back, so they move me to 4:15. We showed up at 4:15 as asked and there was a huge line. We asked where 4:15 should go they said 'oh everyone 4 and later get in this line'. They loaded us all mixed together between 4, 4:15, 4:45 it didn't matter. So what was the point of even picking the group at that point. Not how I want to start a voyage with no organization and the employees not caring. The rest of the embarkation wasn't bad, fairly quick through the passport process and security.
The ship: The valiant Lady is nothing more than an Instagram backdrop ship with very little spaces that actually make sense. The common areas like the coffee shop was basically a hallway with chairs, the decks don't connect from fore to aft on a lot of decks so you have to go up and down the stairs, to the mid ship, and then back up or down. There is barely even any good areas on this ship to sit and have a peaceful afternoon. There is constantly EDM music playing loudly, or live music that was way too loud. The dining area plays music loud as well for no reason.
