Sail Date: Apr 2023

I decided to try this quick weekend sailing as it dovetailed nicely with a cruise that ended in Fort Lauderdale on a Friday. Note that after having read the earlier reviews, I went in with low expectations but wanting to provide more detail for others to make an educated decision as to whether this would be a good fit.

After getting a taxi from the port to Brightline’s station in FL, it was an easy process to check my big bag and take the train to West Palm Beach. Lyft had me from the station to the port by 12 noon (although there is not enough signage to make it clear where non-parking conveyances should drop passengers – look for a green awning to the left of the line having to use the valet parking).

Not surprisingly, as it was a F/S/Su trip, the ship was full. It took a good 75 minutes to process through the terminal and make my way to the ship. Luckily, not long after I embarked, the cabins were cleared to drop luggage.
