Traveled with children

We have just spent a week on Ventura, travelling to Spain, Portugal & France with our two children (one being 2.9 years and the other 9 months). We had a fantastic time!

Pros:

- The staff made this holiday for us! From the terminal boarding to the second we left, the staff were incredibly friendly and included our children at every opportunity. From letting my 2 year old stamp her own boarding pass to stopping to say hello to them whenever we passed.

Port Reviews

Cherbourg

We loved Cherbourg. We had heard that there wasn't a lot to do there. Which is probably true, but we found it to be a lovely, feel-good place.

Porto (Leixoes)

Porto was beautiful & probably our favourite. Very hot but lots to do and see and beautiful architecture.

Lisbon

I have been to Lisbon before and it does have a special place in my heart for many reasons. However, if travelling with children, it's not ideal. Purely because of the heat and it being very hilly.

Vigo

Gorgeous buildings, but not a great deal to do other than eat & drink. Very nice to walk around though.
