We booked our World Cruise while on Antartica cruise 2020 on the Coral Princess. We had such a good time we decided to book the World Cruise 2021. The cruise was pushed to 2023 due to covid. Island Princess was rusty from the day we boarded Jan05. The entire ship was rusty. The sea witch logo was crying rust tears. The menu in the dining for 111 days never changed. We never had a hot meal. The food was mediocre at best. We lost weight on this cruise Our stateroom was flooded twice. The second flood happened as we were getting ready to go to port for half day in Ravenna. We never made it to Ravenna. We were assigned to an inferior stateroom under the Solarium Pool. Chairs and tables being dragged all day long. Customer relations said we could move back to our old stateroom now that it has dried out. It took us 3 hrs to pack our belongings and clothes not doing it again for a second. This is not a one or two week cruise, it’s a 111 days cruise, we had a lot of souvenirs and clothes. Everyone assumes Princess will go in and move you to another stateroom…nope. We had to pack everything into suitcases and bags. One woman was sent to move us to another stateroom. Essentially we moved ourselves to another stateroom. Our old stateroom flooded a third time. This time it flooded from midnight to 7 am. 8 staterooms were flooded. Everyone was always sick on the ship. There are no Hepa filters in the HVAC. Everyone on the ship was always coughing and sick literally for the entire cruise. There is definitely an issue with the HVAC. When we are onshore the coughing subsided. The minute we are in our staterooms we are coughing. The crew was great otherwise it would have been hell. It was like being on a greyhound going around the world. Two weeks before disembarkation in Ft Lauderdale the crew was cleaning and painting the ship. Apparently there were executives boarding in Ft Lauderdale. I guess paying passengers don’t deserve a clean pretty ship. It was embarrassing to admit we were on the island Princess when people enquired as to which ship we came from while at port. Never again. This is not the Princess I know. ( over 30 cruises with Princess ). Everything is dated 1990. Entertainment and casino were horrendous.

Cabin Review

Our old cabin A6** was great. We were moved to A5**, horrible location noisy chairs and tables being dragged all day. 4:30 am maintenance crew dragging chairs and tables to clean. Horrible
