We are veterans of about 25 cruises. We have been on NCL, HAL, Celebrity, Windstar, Viking, Princess and Carnival. We have cruised the Caribbean, the Mediterranean the Baltic, Alaska and a trans Atlantic. This was our first cruise on Costa. We joined some extended family who had already booked. They are European.

1) The Costa App is not compatible with the US App Store, so we could not use.

2) Without the app, we could not complete the safety drill. We were later asked to sign a form acknowledging the safety routine. Although this may have fulfilled Costa’s obligation, this was not really acceptable to us. If this were our first or second cruise, I would have been very worried about being able to respond to an emergency (Does the ship Costa Concordia sound familiar?)

Cabin Review

Classic Balcony Stateroom

Cabin was good but not outstanding.
