We had done Amsterdam to Basel in 2018, and Paris-Normandy-Paris in 2019. This was our third cruise, and in our opinion, the best so far. Poetry II was immaculate and the crew and staff were friendly, competent, courteous and professional. As usual, the food was superb with excellent wine accompaniments. The daily "happy hour" is the best idea yet! We haven't decided where next year's cruise will be yet. But you can bet it will be with Avalon! As for the tours, for the most part, were interesting and informative. The provided guides were excellent in their enthusiasm and knowledge of the area and history. The check out/ check in feature was new to us this trip; the fact the kiosk also displays the menu when prompted is a plus. The wi-fi repeaters in the rooms was really a pleasant surprise. They worked very well when paired with my phone, and were easy to use with the guided tours. Your company is still the "gold standard" of river cruising.
