The smaller boat allows us to get closer to the experience and quaint villages and towns in Europe. Some of the platings were very small. I want a little more variety in the daily menu. Otherwise, the food was exceptional. The ports were excellent. The Black Forest trip left no time for seeing the black forest. We drove 1.5 hours back and forth, with an hour to take a 15-minute walk and then purchase items in the village. We wanted more time in the Black Forest and less shopping. While religion is an essential aspect of the history of Europe, some of the guides spent too much time on religion only. They didn't connect it to the social and cultural developments of the countries. The hotel staff at Movinpick, Amsterdam, and Basel, Switzerland, were exceptional. The process of embankment, disembarkment, and transport to the airport made the trip even more enjoyable and comfortable.

I would tell anyone who wants to take that one trip in a lifetime to anywhere in the world. Let Viking be your guide. It will be more than you ever imagined.

Cabin Review

Veranda Suite

Excellent - very nice and big enough to "breath" during the voyage.
