We had this cruise booked a couple of years ago and it got canceled due to COVID so we re-booked for 2023. It was probably the best cruise we ever took and now have two more cruises booked on Viking for 2024 and 2025. Viking has now become our favorite cruise line. The ship was in great condition - like it was brand new, The crew was friendly and great to be with. The food was great no matter where we ate. With one exception the excursions were great.

We had booked a pre-stay and were met by a Viking rep as soon as we cleared customs into Spain and they took care of everything - collection of our luggage and transfer to a lovely hotel - our rooms were ready early and they recommended a place withing a couple of blocks for dinner which was great. The excursion on the pre-stay was very well planned and the guide extremely knowledgeable. Our luggage was collected at the hotel and delivered to our stateroom for us.
