After a few ocean cruises we did not know what to expect on this first river cruise but were definitely not disappointed. Was concerned about the appointed times to eat meals but that was not a problem. One of our favorite experiences was meal time and meeting many different people from everywhere. One of our favorites was talking with one of the few last survivors of the Holocaust but there were many other interesting people from various parts of the USA and the world. The excursions were excellent and informative. Checking on the possibility of other river cruises. The only disappointment was not getting to see wooden shoes being made. Know they are not used as readily these days but I would have loved to see a demonstration of this skill. There was a variety of excursions to choose from and we did enjoy the ones we chose. Great time!
