I think I should start this review with a disclaimer. DW and I have been on a few cruises, most of them with Princess. Friends of mine and their parents were planning a cruise tour to Alaska. We pushed our way in on the trip, which was okay with them.

I was concerned about cruising with Celebrity, as I didn't know what to expect and with the land tour it made it an expensive experiment. I checked the boards and kept hearing how wonderful the service and experience was on Celebrity. In short, for those who don't wish to read the details, I couldn't agree more!

I enjoyed the food, it could be because our servers were fantastic! We had early dining. The food was good, in my opinion, and served quickly.

Cabin Review

Concierge Class 1

Cabin C1

Our cabin was great. We were next to our friends and their parents, they had adjoining cabins, which made it easier to throw small parties during special times. While we sailed up to Hubbard Glacier, and through the inside passage we all gathered in our friends room. The balcony was great, and I always encourage people to get as much cabin space as they can afford.

You wouldn't think it would be that important, but it is nice to have a balcony in Alaska.
