Cabin: Penthouse Suite with Balcony

This was our 1st cruise out of LA but decided we would like to see the Mexican Riviera. (We live in Florida so usually go out of Fort Lauderdale or Miami.) This was the 1st of our B2B cruises. Embarcation was a breeze and the cabins were available shortly after arrival. We were in a Penthouse Suite R6** right across from the Concierge Lounge (husbands choice). It is a beautiful ship and the cabin was very nice (our 1st time on a new ship). Even though the ship was sold out 3900 guests I think, it never felt over crowded.

Service was great in every area. Our cabin steward Iggy was the best & kept our cabin sparkling. Igor & Bradley in the Concierge Lounge were so friendly & helpful always making our time there so enjoyable. Wait staff in Main Dining Room, Sabatini's, Buffet & Gigi's were very good.

Food was good in every area we ate including Sabatini's, Main Dining Room, Buffet, Gigi's, & even the pizza area on pool deck. There were many choices everywhere. We, of course, ate too much as everything was so tempting.

Cabin Review

Penthouse Suite with Balcony

The cabin was very nice. Being a new ship all the furniture was in great shape. We love all the room you have in the Penthouse Suites. Only negative is the balcony is not very wide even though it is a good length. The location mid ship across from the Concierge Lounge was perfect.

Port Reviews

Cabo San Lucas

We took the Princess excursion Best of Cabo. We had a great tour guide, friendly & knowledgeable. A little bit long for the 3 stops but did enjoy it. A short stop for shopping allowed us time to get local tacos which were great.

Mazatlan

We took the Princess excursion Mazatlan City Highlights Express. We had a great tour guide and enjoyed the tour as it was a good overview of the city. There was time allocated to shop but we choice instead to stop in this cute Mexican Restaurant that had a posted special: 3 Tacos & a Margarita for $12.50....so we choice to eat again. It was very good.

Puerto Vallarta

We took the Princess Excursion Tequilla Tasting, Mayahuel Show & Lunch. Our tour guide, Oliver, was so interesting & informative. The tour was really good & we loved the show best. Only disappointment was that the tacos did not compare to the ones we had on the 1st 2 excursions we went on this cruise.
