We embarked in the World Cruise Port in San Pedro, California. It was very fast and easy which was great. We had received our Medallions by mail, so it made it quick. I had bought 4 airtag wristbands online and they fit the Medallions perfectly.

The Crown is not one of the new Princess ships, but she is wonderful just the same. Everything was kept clean and polished, and I enjoyed the wood and style of a gracious ship. We were not full being just over 2600 passengers, but I don't think it would feel crowded even at capacity. We were welcomed on board by the staff with a lei for our South Pacific cruise of 28 days.

Our cabin was outside balcony Caribe (deck 10) 1**, which is the very farthest cabin forward port side. The balcony was a really nice size with two chairs, foot stools and a small table.
