We joined some friends on this cruise. It was our first vacation since before COVID. They have reduced the staff on the ship and it shows. The first night we were not offered beverages. Usually, they had someone come and get our drink order. No one asked or came by. The meals in the MDR were not that great. I did enjoy the ribs one night. The Chocolate Melting cake was over cooked the first night. We learned, at the Chef's Table, to ask for a "soft center" when ordering at the MDR. The rest of the nights they were good. This ship had more motion than other ships we have been on in the past.

The Casino had a "Non-Smoking" side which was much smaller than the "Smoking" side. The only thing dividing the two areas was the walk way through the Casino. We heard that they are going to start making a real separation between the two in the future. Really hope this happens! 13% of the population smokes. They infringe on our rights not to smoke or inhale 2nd hand smoke. I would like to see a smoke free cruising opportunity.

I do wish the staff would have enforced the "No Smoking" on the balconies and some of the pool areas. Some people think the rules don't apply to them and ruin it for others. If you say No Smoking, please enforce it!!!

Cabin Review

Cabin was cool. Didn't have glasses, ice bucket, telephone directory. Asked Guest Services to get what we needed. They gave me another number to call. No pencil or paper in the room. AC worked great! Loud neighbors on one side. Paid cabin steward for ice in our room every day. Missed one day. He was very nice though.

Port Reviews

Montego Bay

Mo Bay was better this time. The shops are outside in a designated area and they aren't able to badger the cruisers coming off the ship. Cleaned up and nicer. Did the Rose Hill excursion. Very informative and interesting. Trust way too humid...in April! LaToya was an excellent guide. She could answer our quarions. We got to see a couple that just got married. So special!

Cozumel

This was our 4th time to Cozumel. Took the Tabasco Cooking Class. The cooking area was very hot. Only 1 of 5 AC's on. 22 burners cooking. Got really hot. The food was simple and easy to make. Everyone ate the Ceviché, didn't look like anyone ate their 3 enchiladas (tacos) and no one finished their Rice Pudding with Mango sauce. Staff very friendly and funny. Appreciated them trying to make it fun and entertaining.

I wish the photographer would have just gotten us in the photos. She seemed to always have some of the people on either side in our photos. So we didn't purchase them.
