My friend got married and asked a group (60 of us total) to cruise with them to celebrate. We started in Miami, Ported in Key West, where they got married, and then onto the Bahamas & back to Miami. I initially thought the price was in the upper range, but we were able to get a deck view and it is one of the newest cruise ships that is adults only, so not having to deal with high pitched kids screams was nice.

I cannot say enough about our first experience. The days were amazing, the whole experience was amazing. Seas were calm, which helped. We had gotten the patch (behind the ear) to fight sea sickness, but they washed off and we really did not need it. We were on the 13th floor, front of the back 3rd of the ship. I had called soon after booking and got that floor. Being our first time I wanted the experience to be the best that it could so consulting with the booking agent, I thought would be my best way to go. I was not wrong as they said being up higher would help combat sea sickness, but down from the 14th floor where we may hear parties and such going on from the upper decks. Deck 15 is the Galley with many food options. There is no buffet style on this ship, but the galley and about a dozen food venues which you need to book in advance. If you have a rockstar suite and a group, the rockstar holder can book the dinner venues for the group for the week. That was really convenient for us non-cruisers. The restaurants were top notch, but some I left still feeling hungry. But not to fret, there was an Gelato station and pizza place that I was happy to visit nightly to fill the void. My wife and I truly enjoyed the experience that we took the offer to go on a future cruise with Virgin!
