Boarding at Southampton was smooth and when onboard this beautiful ship doesn't fail to impress. It's a big ship and wide so you sort of lose the sense you're on the water sometimes.

This was our second cruise with MSC the first was on the Preziosa last October. There were definitely things I preferred about the smaller ship.

Cabin Review

The cabin was acceptably clean. The sofa was huge, perfect if you like a big sofa. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Plenty of hanging space and drawers. The cabin was a bit narrow and oddly didn't seem to have mirrors in the right place in the stateroom. Balcony was smaller but plenty of space to sit out. Cabin lighting was particularly good, which was great for atmosphere.

Shower room was clean and fresh.

Port Reviews

Rotterdam

Took the MSC provided excursion to Amsterdam. Good value but it did rain heavily.
