We chose this cruise because some of my 93 year old mothers friends were going on it.and she wanted to join them. Being that she is elderly we thought someone from the family should also go with in case there were any issues. It ended up with others joining my mother. Three siblings and a son -in-law joined in.

When we checked in at the port in Miami they told us that we would not be going to Bermuda. We were scheduled to be there 3 nights. The reason was because of the weather. I am not sure when they knew about this , but I am certain that they could have notified us sooner than at our scheduled check in time. They offered us a voucher for another cruise at a later date. Because of my mothers age, the cost of the flights that we had taken from MN, the uber expenses and other incidental expenses occurring on both ends of the trip , not to mention the rearranging of schedules to make this all happen ,we just got on the boat and said we would make the most of it.

When we got on the ship we were greeted by staff selling upgraded drink packages. We thought about it and decided since we were going to be floating around off the coast of Florida for 4-5 days we might as well splurge and purchase it. There was a price dispute of $10 a day , which came to $100 a piece or $500 dollars for all five of us together. We showed her on the web site where the dollar amount was posted .
