A few friends have sailed with Regent for many years, and we had heard good things. We have sailed with most of the "best" cruise lines except for Regent, so we thought we must give it a try. Indeed our suite was very nicely appointed: we had one of the best suites on the new ship and the decor was tasteful. The size at 1000 sq. ft. was comfortable.

The 2 young lades/suite stewards from Housekeeping were fine and the butler was OK. What really shocked us was the band that played in the lounge every night: they were playing to their own enjoyment and not for the guests who wish to dance. The entertainment in the theatre could be missed altogether. The food in all restaurants did not impress: always good presentation but lacking in taste. Nothing will bring on board a Regent ship again. A disappointing first cruise on Regent. May be the pandemic affected its quality.

Splendor Suite

Good size in Splendor Suite. Nice contemporary grey/white decor. Bed was too high for us. Comfortable 2 -room suite. Well decorated.
